First and foremost, it doesn’t matter how you have broken up, please give yourself and your ex girlfriend or boyfriend at least a month time to sort out the feelings. The second rule is to be completely cool about the breakup. I know, you are not cool about the breakup, but I want you to be. What’s happened has happened and it is only when you can accept the breakup that you can finally make your next move to getting your ex back.

Even if your ex was the one who ended the relationship, it isn’t rare that the people who ended it all call the ex boyfriend or the ex girlfriend that they have dumped and just check up on how they are doing. That is the way they get their closure. They want you to be miserable and this lets them know how important they were to their ex lovers. If you were a complete loser when you were breaking up with your ex, then there is even more reason that you want to be seen doing very well after the breakup. Do not allow your ex to have closure!

If you think your ex isn’t thinking about you even a bit because he or she cheated on, then think again. The wild burning passion with the new man or woman may last a few days to maybe a couple of weeks, but after that it’s just another guy or a girl on a bed. It’s only human nature that your ex will start to think about you, compare you to the current lover, and he or she will be as vulnerable as ever. However, it is important to note that he or she will not be in this state forever. Timing will be crucial.

To recap, the second rule to my guide on how to get your ex back is to be cool about the breakup. Don’t give your ex the satisfaction of knowing how much they mean to you even after the breakup. Don’t let your ex have closure, because that will aid him or her to move on.

Thirdly, be ready to agree with many things that in truth you absolutely do not agree with. Remember, you are the one who’s actively pursuing to patch up the relationship and therefore you’ll be the one making the big chunk of the compromise.

Do your best to try to understand your ex girlfriend’s or ex boyfriend’s point of view, but it’s only natural that some things you will never be able to agree with even your loved ones. Your first goal is to get your ex back and you better be ready to do just about anything to get it done. Nothing in life that is worth anything comes to those with a faint of heart. Be ready to bite the bullet, because having to sacrifice some pride to be with the person you love is well worth it.

Lastly, be ready to contact your ex after a month time. Don’t be needy and don’t be too serious about anything. Be friends with him or her before you try anything serious. You should never jump in feet first, therefore you should give your ex girlfriend or boyfriend a chance to warm up to your presence in his or her life again.

By far one of the quickest ways to get your ex back is by using jealousy. You see it all the time on TV, but people often make fun of such strategy claiming that it does not work. It seems like a plan with a lot of problems, and it is, but it does work quite well.

You first have to understand that slow is fast when it comes to getting an ex back. If you try to take things fast with your ex, then you are pretty much doomed to fail, but if you take a relaxed approach to get your ex back, then half the battle would be won already.
